Sara Samarasinghe

Sara Samarasinghe is currently seeking literary representation for her seventh young adult novel (an 86,000-word serial killer thriller written for fans of Kara Thomas and Liane Moriarty).

Sara self-published her first novel at age twelve and her sixth at age sixteen. She has been featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, and South Asian network TV and radio shows as an advocate for adolescent literacy. Her poetry, short stories, and essays have been published in anthologies and featured in magazines and newspapers.

Since graduating from New York University in 2014, Sara has worked at Morgan Stanley, where she is currently an Executive Director and COO of the Senior Relationship Management Division. She was named to the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the Finance category.
